German company announces free software and training for students

Saqib Ahmed, country manager of the German company SAP, says that the biggest obstacle to digitalization in Pakistan is the lack of IT experts. To overcome this deficiency, SEP has made training courses and software free for students of various educational institutions.

Talking to the media in Karachi, Saqib Ahmed said that human resources are very good in Pakistan. Accustomed to learn very quickly and work hard. That is why they are hired all over the world and especially in Arab countries. Due to this, there is a shortage of IT experts in Pakistan. To remove this, educational institutions have been given free access to SAP training software.

He said that Pakistan is in dire need of foreign exchange at this time. And IT exports can address this shortfall. But for this, policy and infrastructure have to be improved at the government level.

Saqib Ahmed said that due to the country's difficult economic conditions, companies are reluctant to invest in Pakistan because they do not believe that they will be able to transfer their capital and profits abroad easily.
