Many Bollywood actresses are unhappy that they are paid less than their co-heroes. Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, and other actors spoke on many platforms about being paid less. However, in a conference, Vidya Balan said she does not know much about equal pay.
They said that they are happy and satisfied with the compensation they get. In response to a question, she said that she does not know about getting paid less than male actors because she has worked with very few big heroes.
Vidya Balan said that she feels she is paid well for the projects she is doing, even though big actors in mainstream films can demand 10 times more. Talking further in this regard, it was further said that actors are paid because of their huge number of fans or followings. Indian actress Mrunal said that in terms of salary, it is essential to be clear about what you want to be paid before signing any of your films.
