The High Court sought the details of the gifts taken from the Tosha Khan since the establishment of Pakistan

 

Justice Asim Hafeez of Lahore High Court heard the petition of citizen Munir Ahmed.

According to the petitioner, how many gifts were received from Tosha Khana by which persons and what payments were made, their details are not available, so it is requested that who received how many gifts from Tosha Khana since 1947? Details should be provided.

The lawyer of the federal government opposed the request and said that the gifts of the coffin are confidential information, the details cannot be provided.

The court convinced him that after buying gifts from the box store, it has to be disclosed in the tax returns, when the gift was disclosed in the tax returns, then how did it remain confidential, so provide the details, this court will decide whether the information is confidential or not.

The next hearing of the case will be held on January 16.
