Teen who egged King Charles III jailed for 6 months


A 23-year-old man who threw eggs at King Charles III of Great Britain has been sentenced to six months in prison.


According to the British news agency, Patrick Thelwell, a student at the University of York, was sentenced under the provisions of violent behavior and endangering someone's life.


The suspect hurled three eggs in quick succession at Britain's King Charles III and his wife during a visit to the Micklegate bar in early November.


While throwing eggs, the young man also shouted that this country was built with the blood of slaves. All three eggs fell very close to King Charles III.


The police arrested the young man on the spot and transferred him to the police station and now after the hearing, the young man has been sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.
