A few days ago, Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja said in an interview that foreigners are afraid to go to Peshawar, Peshawar is still a red flag zone for foreign players.
Various political leaders had registered a protest on Rameez Raja's statement and now PSL chief Javed Afridi has also expressed his displeasure on this statement.
Drafting of PSL 8 players is going on in Karachi and the heads of all the franchises are present with their respective think tanks but Peshawar Zalmi is not accompanied by its owner.
Officials of Peshawar Zalmi say that Javed Afridi has recorded his silent protest by not participating in the event.
