Pakistan is the second most expensive country in Asia

According to the report, Pakistan is the second most expensive country in South Asia with an inflation rate of 26.6 percent.

The report further states that Pakistan's economic problems have increased due to floods, due to which Pakistan's economic growth rate is likely to slow down.

Floods in Pakistan caused severe damage to agriculture and livestock. Other major crops, including cotton and rice, were destroyed, while the agricultural sector, including wheat, faces further threats.

On the other hand, according to the State Bank of Pakistan, remittances have decreased by 5% per month and 14% per year.

From July to November, Pakistanis sent foreign exchange worth 12 billion dollars through the banking channel, while in November, overseas Pakistanis sent 2 billion 10 million dollars home.
