According to officials, the incident took place in the
northeast area of Kuala Lumpur where a camping site in Yast Selangor was hit by a landslide.
Rescue officials say that a total of 100 people have been affected by the avalanche. Dozens of people injured in the accident were rushed to the hospital.
According to the authorities, all the dead are Malaysian citizens. At the time of the accident, around 100 people had gathered at the site for camping.
Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai visited Pakistan in October of the same year. In which he saw the flood-affected areas. Rather, he requested different countries of the world to increase the amount of aid in the areas affected by floods. Malala also announced a donation of 154 million Pakistani rupees in her last visit through the Malala Fund through the Malala Fund.
