A plan to kidnap a woman by pretense of romance, wealth and marriage is called a honey trap.
Sindh's raw material kidnapping gangs have adopted this method and received huge ransom during 4 incidents in Lahore.
The gangs of Ghotki and Kashmore kidnapped three citizens of Nishtar Colony, Walton Road and Achhra and collected lakhs of rupees as ransom.
The police did not reach any accused involved in the honey trap incidents, nor could any precautionary measures be taken to save the citizens.
