According to Indian media reports, King Khan's son Karthik Aaryan has been criticized by social media users for comparing his role in 'Freddy' with his father's film 'Der'.
Karthik Aaryan played the role of a dentist in the film 'Freddy' which is the story of a serial killer, the film was released on the OTT platform and received positive reviews.
The actor talked about the success of the film in an interview and said that his film is being compared to Shahrukh Khan's 1993 release 'Dur'.
Karthik Aaryan said, "It's a pleasure to work so hard to portray the role of 'Dr. Freddy' that the fans loved and appreciated my character."
King Khan's son said that the director of the film was Shashanga Ghosh, I was surprised when I read the script of the film because it was a thriller, I immediately said yes.
He further said, "Social media users have compared my performance with Shahrukh Khan of 'Der' but it does not mean that I have played a role like father, who is a legend."
Social media users did not like these words of Karthik and started criticizing the actor.
One user wrote, 'I desperately need this kind of fake confidence in my life too.'" Another user wrote, "No doubt Karthik did a great job in Freddie but compared to Dhar Ke Shah. Rukh Khan has done more because SRK's performance in Fear was worth watching.'
